Surgery is not always the answer.

Surgery is not always the answer!

A lot of people get surgery for their lower back and then go out into their everyday life performing the poor movement patterns that got them into the sore position in the first place.

Luckily, Nina knew that surgery was not the right thing for her, despite being told otherwise. She reached out to me in debilitating back pain. She could barely get up and walk around and our initial meeting was on the phone with her lying down from the pain.

The plan commenced.

We slowly built her foundation. We got her movement patterns correct. We learnt the hip hinge.

She spent every day doing her activation work before we could progress her to the gym. We then progressed her training program and now she deadlifts and squats pain-free and has an improved quality of life and a newfound love for training.

So shout out to Nina from Germany helping me and other practitioners spread the word that yes, there's a time and a place for surgery, but it's probably not the right answer for you until you have exhausted all options.Learn how to move correctly first and get really strong.

There is hope for you and your loved ones too.

Movement is our medicine.

Dani.
